The top graph is Detective Comics 880 which is a classic Jock cover and despite it being a relatively new book that has had solid value throughout its entire existence. While the other graphs that have influenced value jumps when announced as a TV show which eventually peaks during the popular period and then drops off as people's attention goes elsewhere.

This is verified by looking at the volume of books sold.  The DTec 880 has had steady sales growth while the two books whose values were influenced by being made into TV shows saw rapid growth then a decline in the number of books sold.

Meanwhile the DTec 880 is having a solid sustained growth with some drops in value but always recovers and continues to slowly move up like you would expect a Blue Chip stock.
